September 5, 2009~Late for reservation while looking for location. Sign blocked by palm tree. Contacted restruant representative didn't know how to give directions and didn't pass the call on to someone who knew how to get there. Once at the restruant arrived late; host explained had to give away reservation. We understood, however; explained situation, host apologetic and was able to seat family of 6 within 2 minutes. Atmosphere breath-taking, services were excellent. Waiter Tim very friendly top knotch; other wait help always smiling, restruant very kid friendly. Ordered #1 combo platter~Pulled port excellent, temp. great, rib with extra sauce~to die for, brisket so soft and juicy it melts in your mouth. Baked potato cooked well and the beans perfect. The offer of the three sauces were the best; what would top the platter off was a side of coleslaw. Parking excellent; Bathroom clean. Although wheelchair lift is available; someone would have to alert the upstairs representatives of someone needing the services. Once upstairs very difficult to move around without feeling very out of place. Suggestion move some of the dining downstairs.

There's plenty to have with pork in it at Scotty's. The pulled pork sandwich was good. The pork was reasonably tender. What was also nice was that they gave us a few different kinds of BBQ sauce, one of which was sweet, so it was nice to have some variety with BBQ sauces. It was also neat to have pork nachos. I also had the Gilligan's Island mixed drink, which unfortunately tasted like it didn't have much, if any, alcohol in it. You do have a view of the beach when you dine at Scotty's, which is very nice.
